Parish Giving

Thank you very much for your generous gifts which are especially welcome in these challenging times.  Your contributions help to keep the parish running.  I send my prayers for you all.  Fr Paul

Standing Order

If you are willing to support the Parish financially, the most effective way is to complete a Standing Order form. We would be grateful if you could print the Standing Order Form, fill it in and return to the Parish Office.

Diocesan Standing Order Form

If you are a UK taxpayer (including pensions) then we can increase the value of your generous donations via Gift Aid. If you use the Gift Aid Standing Order form, our Gift Aid Organiser can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift, currently 25p for every £1 you give. Here is the Gift Aid form for you to return to the Parish Office.

If you are unable to print these forms at home, and have no-one who can help you to do this, please contact the Parish Office on 01342 710313 or email parish@worth.org.uk

Contactless Donations

You will find our new Digital Collection Plate, contactless terminal in the church. Just use your contactless debit/credit card or smart phone/device to make a donation. Simply choose the amount you wish to donate and hold your card onto the reader.

You can also opt-in for Gift Aid to increase your donation by 25%. If you are a UK taxpayer then donating with Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 received.

Contactless donations are simple to administer, secure and convenient.

There are 2 machines –  one in the lobby by the East door of the church (at the lower level) and one in the Narthex adjacent to the bookshop.

**The QR code can also be found on the back of the Order of Service for your ease. Please feel free to take your Order of Service with you and scan the code at your leisure.**

Bank Transfer

If you bank online, via telephone or using a mobile app, then you should find it easy to make a one-off donation using the following account details. You may also be able to set up a standing order in your remote banking service.

Sort code: 40-05-20

Account number: 61076892

A&B Diocesan Trust Worth Abbey Parish

Remember, if you pay UK income tax, then your donations will be more valuable to us if we have received a Gift Aid Form in the name that appears on your bank account – use the form above if you are not sure if you have sent one yet.

Other Methods

Cheque and Cash

If you wish to send us a cheque (made out to Roman Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton Worth Abbey Parish Account) or put a cheque or cash in to the Parish Office, we will certainly welcome your generous offering. There is a little more administration than the method above, but all of your donation will reach us this way (no commission), and if you include a Gift Aid Form (or have sent us one previously) we can also get some extra back from the taxman.

Online Donation

If you cannot manage the above methods, then you can make a donation online, using our JustGiving page. The service will take a small commission from your donation, but many people find this an easy solution. It is also simple to include the Gift Aid declaration as you go.

Leaving a legacy in your will

If you wish to leave a legacy to Worth Abbey Parish, please speak to the Diocese. Gifts should be left to the Diocese with additional wording added by your solicitor stating that your gift is to be used for the benefit of Worth Abbey Parish. For assistance in leaving a legacy in your will please call 01273 859705 or email  legacies@abdiocese.org.uk

Your gift could help to provide financial support for the work of Worth Abbey Parish, where your faith and your values will live on. Your generous gift will be received with gratitude and we will keep you in our prayers.
