Assisting the parish in the liturgy
Click to read about our Liturgical Ministries
The liturgy is at the heart of parish life, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who already gives their time, gifts and care to support our worship. Their service helps make our celebrations welcoming, prayerful and life-giving.
We warmly invite more parishioners to take part in these ministries, whether by preparing behind the scenes or serving during Mass. There are many ways to help, from altar serving, reading and welcoming to music, hospitality, flowers and practical preparation.
If you would like to take an active role during the liturgy, please contact the team leaders below. We would love to see more people contribute to these ministries, so please do not be afraid to come forward. You will be offered appropriate training.

Church Flowers
The flowers in the Abbey Church help to mark the seasons of the Church year and bring beauty to our worship, especially at Christmas and Easter. A small team of volunteers arranges the flowers, and new helpers are always welcome, whether experienced or simply willing to learn.
