Pope Francis’ Message for Lent 2025 “Let us journey together in hope.”
Stations of the Cross will take place each Friday in church at 7.15 pm, beginning on March 14th until April 11th. They normally last about forty minutes. There will also be Stations for families on Saturday, 29th March, at 10.30, in the church.
There will be Adoration in church on Wednesdays from 2.30pm till 3.30pm, as usual.
We also offer Faith Groups. The group which is coordinated by Rachel Davies meets on Friday mornings. Please contact Rachel on her mobile: 07801-696-354. A group will start in Cuckfield on Monday, 10th March at 3:00pm. Please contact Christie Grieve – christiegrieve@gmail.com This will be led by Christie and Christina Fitzsimons. We also hope to offer a group in Crawley Down, to be advertised soon.
Coffees for CAFOD will once again run throughout the Lenten season at Worth beginning on Wednesday 12th March from 2-3.30pm. The venue for the first meet will be at the Parish Office (St. Benedict’s) and then on all other Wednesdays at Compass House. The coffees will be hosted jointly by the Worth School CAFOD Young Leaders, Hal and Rory Clarke and Kir, our Parish CAFOD Rep.
Please consider doing something this Lent rather than giving something up and join us for coffee or perhaps afternoon tea! We will work to keep the beverages and the conversation flowing and will invite interesting guests to join us each week. There is no need to book in advance, please pop in for refreshments and simply donate whatever you wish to CAFOD. We would be grateful if you could share some of your time with us this Lent. Now more than ever, given the changing geopolitical climate, the world needs the hope that CAFOD brings and CAFOD needs your support.
