The Marriage Feast at Cana
When two people marry, their union is a sign of Christ’s love for his Church, and this love becomes a reality for the couple. They thus share a love which is no longer simply human but also divine.
Twice yearly a course is run to prepare couples for Marriage. It is a Saturday day-long event run by married couples. It covers topics like: “Loving and Liking”, “Agreeing to Disagree” and “Marriage as a Sacrament”. Almost always couples find the day enjoyable.

To be a Christian marriage, certain conditions have to be met, such as the couple have to be mature enough to know what they are doing and they have to be open to having a family. If it subsequently emerges that these criteria were not met, a marriage can be annulled.
