Refugee Week at Worth

During Refugee Week prayer materials will be available in the Lady Chapel for private use.

The main event will be a talk by Ben Rogers on Saturday, 23rd June in the Unity Room at 10.00am. His talk is entitled ‘Repression of Freedom, Religious Persecution and Crimes Against Humanity in Asia: Stories from the Front Line‘. Ben is a human rights activist and writer. As East Asia Team Leader and Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), he specialises in Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, North Korea and China. In addition to his work with CSW, he is also co-founder and Chair of a new advocacy organisation called Hong Kong Watch and Deputy Chair of the Conservative Human Rights Commission and Senior Fellow at the Religious Freedom Institute. Anna Pincus

Anna Pincus will also speak about the work of Refugees Welcome – Crawley, the local organisation supporting refugees.


The morning will end with lunch. Please let us know if you would like to stay for lunch. (there will be a collection). After lunch there will be a time for prayer in the Lady Chapel.




Everyone is welcome to the Community Concelebrated Mass at 9.00am. Coffee will be served in the Unity Room at 10.00am.
