Benedictine Spirituality
The Parish Development Plan for 2010 - 2015 is to become more fully a Benedictine parish. We are encouraged to develop our faith by a greater understanding of the Rule of St Benedict, drawing from the Rule elements that will enhance our lives. Over the next five years the parish aims to become:
A Learning Parish where opportunities are avalable to deepen our understanding of the Faith
A Praying Parish in which the Rule of St Benedict can inform our lives, where personal and family prayer is encouraged and where a prayerful reading of scripture is widely offered
A Serving Parish in which bridges are built with the needy, the young, non-active Catholics, those outside the church and the poor
